One flat fee · Agreed before we begin

You'll know the number
before we start.

No hourly billing. No invoice that grew while you weren't looking. You get a single flat fee for your matter, you approve it, and it doesn't change because something took longer than expected.

How a quote is built

Four things decide the fee.

No two matters are identical, so there's no single price list. But the fee isn't arbitrary either — it comes from the same four factors every time. You'll know which ones apply to you after the first conversation.

01

Which documents

A will is a different job from a full probate packet. The number of documents in your set is the biggest single factor.

02

How complex

An uncontested Summary Consent Decree is straightforward. Multiple properties, minor children, or a contested history adds work.

03

Which county

Courts differ in local rules and filing requirements. A packet prepared for Gila County isn't automatically formatted for Maricopa.

04

Whether we file

Preparation alone, or preparation plus e-filing, service, and conformed copies returned to you. Filing is optional and priced separately.

In and out

What the flat fee covers — and what it doesn't.

This is the part most people have been burned on before. Being clear about the boundary up front is the whole point of a flat fee.

Included in your quote

  • Every document in your set, prepared in full
  • Checking the current Arizona forms and the filing court's local rules
  • Revisions if the court requires a correction
  • Deadline tracking through your filing date
  • E-filing or mailing, if you've asked us to file
  • Conformed file-stamped copies returned to you

Billed separately, at cost

  • Court filing fees — set by the court, not by us, and always itemized before you pay them
  • Certified copies and postage
  • Process server fees, where service is required
  • Anything a third party charges that we're only passing through

We tell you what these come to before anything is filed. Nobody should discover a filing fee at the counter.

Why flat fee

Hourly billing punishes you for asking questions.

When every phone call costs money, people stop calling. They guess. They wait. And by the time they do reach out, the deadline is closer than it needed to be.

A flat fee removes that. Call twice. Ask the same question a different way. Send the document back because something's wrong. None of it changes the number you already agreed to.

You approve it first

The quote comes after the consultation, not before. We look at what you actually need, then give you one number. Nothing starts until you say go.

It doesn't drift

If the work turns out to take longer than expected, that's not your problem. The fee is for the matter, not for the hours.

Questions are free

Call as often as you need to. Getting it right is cheaper for both of us than getting it wrong and re-filing.

No obligation to continue

Take the quote and think about it. Compare it. There's no pressure and no charge for the consultation, whether or not you hire us.

Fifteen minutes for a real number.

Tell us what you're facing. You'll get a flat fee for your matter, a timeline, and a straight answer about whether you need us at all.
